The 2010 Miss Teen Alabama, Savannah Boyd

Savannah Boyd was crowned Miss Teen Alabama 2010 this past April in Birmingham Alabama at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center. Savannah competed against other Teen's from across the state of Alabama for the prestigious title of Miss Teen Alabama United States.

Savannah competed in the 2010 Miss Teen United States Pageant in July in Las Vegas, Nevada against other state title holders from across the Nation and was afforded a top 6 placement.

Savannah is a very well rounded young lady. She is 17 years old and, for such a young lady, has accomplished much in her life. Academically, she is on the A/B Honor Roll. Savannah is involved with numerous organizations in school, such as the Beta Club, Spanish Club, and Key Club. She works with the Student Government Association at her school. She was in the Homecoming Court in the ninth and tenth grades and won the "Best Dressed Award". Savannah was a cheerleader from the time she was six years old until the present. She has been co-captain twice. She also enjoys sports and uses this love to play softball.

Savannah has choose to be a National spokesperson for "Racing For A Cure" because she has a deep desire to help others and bring attention to a cause that would help wipe out the devastating disease of Cancer.
